As sisters with an unbridled passion for design and entrepreneurial flair, we founded our creative business in early 2008 with the launch of our first website promoting our unique range of bespoke children's murals. We have since completed a number of private commissions for friends and family as well as work for a London-based children's charity. In addition to children's mural painting, we have amassed a variety of creative endeavours from clothes accessorising to handbag making and even our own DIY! Our latest design project combines colour and craftsmanship within our array of one-off, personalised fabric cushions, handmade down to the very last stitch.
Having run out of inventive present ideas for friends and family with newborns and little ones, the idea of personalising keepsakes such as cushions sprang to mind. One handmade cushion led to another and as with any new creative concept, design ideas continually evolve and there will certainly be more products to come in the future!
Both of us indulged our artistic talent from an early age. I graduated from Edinburgh University with a degree in Architecture in 2001 and since leaving university, I have managed full time work while laying the foundations of Alice & Charlotte through a number of side projects - always trying to stay true to my creative roots! Charlotte has a strong artistic background, studying Art History and Art at 'A' Level standard.
We love combining our design ideas to create inventive and imaginative gifts that bring big smiles to lots of little faces!
